Mark Izydore is long-established accountant based in Florida. As a co-manager of CJ Consultants, he oversees daily operations of the financial and healthcare advisory firm. Outside of the professional realm, Mark Izydore maintains membership with Les Amis du Vin.

Les Amis du Vin (LADV), a French expression that means “the friends of wine,” is a society in Austin, Texas, that brings together fine wine connoisseurs. Since its inception more than two decades ago, the society has focused on organizing multiple events, allowing members to select areas that interest them most. Events hosted by LADV include academic and social gatherings, pairings, and surveys.

Academic/Educational Events

The focus of these events is to educate attendees about wine, covering themes, wine styles, and key wine regions.

Social gatherings

These bring together wine lovers and their friends to celebrate the wine culture. Friends include personal friends invited to an event by members, or friends' members who have met in previous LADV events.

Pairings

In pairings, members explore the capabilities of wine as a food item, and determine which wines are the best accompaniments for certain foods or dishes.

Surveys

These events provide an opportunity for wine enthusiasts to try out and compare various wines in order to discover rare, unusual, and favorite wines that members can consider for their next purchase.
